Your original photos never leave our studio.  Many other restoration providers send your original photos out of town. Once we make our high-resolution digital negative, we keep your original safe until you pick them up. You have no worries because we never work on your original, only our newly created master copy.

We do our best to share our expectations of what the final image(s) will look like at the same viewing appointment that we create your free estimate.  We want you to be super happy with the outcome.  Every project is a different challenge and we want you to be fully informed.

All photographs are automatically copyrighted by its creator (including your own photographs).  (The Copyright Act of 1976)  If your original was created by a professional, we have an obligation to try to find the photographer, or his heirs, to secure a proper release.  If we cannot find the creator, we will restore your image after transferring the copyright infringement liability to you.  In our 30+ years, this has never been an issue.

If you are not in our area to bring your originals in person, you certainly may ship them to us. We’ll contact you upon arrival to discuss the estimated cost of reproduction. That said, we do not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of your original images on both incoming and return shipping. We suggest you properly package and insure your original,  and ship with a trackable courier.  Call for safer packaging suggestions.

Sometimes we're able to give you a preliminary estimate with some emailed or texted snapshots you send.  A confirmed Estimate will be sent upon receiving the actual original.
